Sacred Gift of Life
Each January on the Sunday closest to the Supreme Court ruling legalizing abortion (Roe v Wade - January 22), teens across the Archdiocese hold discussions and give sermons presenting the Church’s teaching on the Sacredness of Life.
While people may have failed to make good choices in the past on this most important issue of life, SOYO chooses to help educate a generation of teens to make good choices with how they use their body and how they treat life – given as a gift from God.
The point of this material is not to pass judgment on those that have chosen to abort life, but as a source of help for teens to better understand this gift, as given by God.
